1. The ShowHound service

ShowHound is a software platform for venue research, booking context, first introductions, early follow-ups, communication drafts, and booking-workflow organization. It is not a booking agent, talent agent, manager, attorney, financial adviser, or representative authorized to bind you. You remain responsible for your communications, negotiations, agreements, business decisions, and verification of important venue and booking information.

2. Drafts and communications

ShowHound-generated drafts are suggestions. You decide whether to use, edit, save, or send them, and you are responsible for ensuring that communications you create, edit, save, or send through ShowHound are lawful, accurate, appropriate, and consistent with applicable law and third-party rights. ShowHound does not negotiate on your behalf and does not guarantee venue responses, bookings, or other outcomes.

Gmail connection is optional. If you authorize Gmail access and choose to save a generated message, ShowHound may create a Gmail draft for you to review and send. ShowHound does not automatically send Gmail messages.

3. Venue and third-party information

Venue, contact, availability, and other third-party information may come from public sources, users, or other third parties. It can change over time and may contain errors or become outdated. ShowHound does not guarantee that this information is complete, current, or accurate; you are responsible for verifying important information before relying on it for booking or business decisions.

4. Public beta and availability

ShowHound is live in public beta for organizing artist booking introductions and early follow-ups. The public beta is currently focused on Texas and Oklahoma, where venue and contact coverage is actively growing and may vary by area as ShowHound expands into additional markets. During beta, features may change and functionality may be added, modified, or removed. Errors or interruptions may occur, and we will work to keep the service useful and improve it over time.

5. Billing, subscriptions, and cancellation

Public beta pricing - Standard plan $25/month. ShowHound is currently in public beta. The Standard plan is $25/month during public beta and is expected to be $40/month at full launch. Join during public beta to keep the $25/month Standard plan rate for the life of your ShowHound account.

Public beta pricing is lower because early users are helping ShowHound grow venue coverage across Texas and Oklahoma and improve the platform through real use and useful venue contributions. Coverage may vary by area as ShowHound expands into additional markets. The protected public beta rate applies to the qualifying ShowHound account on the Standard plan. Upgrading to another tier may change the price. If that qualifying account later returns to the Standard plan, the intended price is again $25/month. Account deletion, fraud, abuse, erroneous eligibility, or account transfer may invalidate that protected rate where these Terms, platform integrity rules, or legal requirements allow it.

There is no permanent free tier. The Standard plan begins after the 7-day free trial if you continue with a paid subscription. Subscription charges recur through Stripe according to the plan and payment details you approve. You may cancel through the billing controls; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and payment failures may result in a 72-hour grace period before access is blocked. Account deletion is separate from subscription cancellation and stops future subscription renewal while retained billing records may remain for accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, dispute, or legal purposes.

6. Acceptable use and user contributions

Do not use ShowHound for unlawful, deceptive, fraudulent, harassing, or abusive activity; unauthorized access; interference with the service; misuse of personal information; or communications that violate applicable law or third-party rights. This does not prohibit legitimate artist-to-venue introductions, but users must use the service responsibly.

You may submit venue information, feedback, and other content you are permitted to provide. You retain ownership of content you independently own. You grant ShowHound a limited, non-exclusive right to use submitted information only to operate, maintain, verify, improve, and provide the service. ShowHound may verify submissions against public sources and may correct, normalize, reject, or remove submitted information.

7. Intellectual property and third-party services

ShowHound and its original software, branding, design, and service content are owned by ShowHound or its licensors. Subject to these Terms, you receive a limited right to use the service for its intended purpose. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of your independently owned content or ShowHound's intellectual property.

The service may rely on third-party services, including Google/Gmail and Stripe. Your use of those services may also be governed by their own terms and policies. Those providers' involvement does not reduce ShowHound's responsibilities described in its Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, ShowHound is provided on an "as available" basis without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation, booking results, venue responses, or the completeness or accuracy of third-party information. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, ShowHound and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost opportunities, profits, bookings, data, or goodwill arising from use of or inability to use the service, reliance on third-party information, service interruptions, or communications you choose to create, save, or send. This provision does not limit liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

9. Suspension, termination, and indemnity

ShowHound may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary for Terms violations, security risks, fraud or abuse, nonpayment, or legal requirements. You may stop using the service at any time, cancel through billing controls, or request account deletion as described in the Privacy Policy and Data Deletion page.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you will indemnify ShowHound and its operators against third-party claims arising from your unlawful use of the service, communications you choose to send, violation of third-party rights, or violation of these Terms.

10. Changes and general terms

We may update these Terms as the service changes. We will post the updated version with a new "Last updated" date. If a change materially affects your use of the service, we will provide notice where required by applicable law. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without ShowHound's consent; ShowHound may assign them in connection with operating, restructuring, or transferring the service. These Terms, together with referenced policies, are the entire agreement about use of the service.

Questions about these Terms, the service, privacy, or account deletion can be sent to support@show-hound.com.
